Called Chimney Chap to service of my gas insert fireplace. I have not given regular maintenance service as I should have. I was so impressed with tech Jon Hurley the way he disassemble and inspected all the parts. Replacing a faulty ignition switch and cleaning everything completely. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Fireplace now running like new for a fair price. Thank you

Chimney Chap John Hurley arrived today and I cannot say enough awesome things about his dedication & service. He got both units working like new after 20 yrs! I needed my Endeavor Lopi wood stove cleaned and inspected. After calling several companies, I decided to use The Chimney Chap. James Seery came out to perform the service. I can't tell you how pleased I am with the service he provided. He was courteous, professional and he knows his job well. One of the things he said as he was wrapping up was that he is passionate about his job and the safety of the customers that he services. Further, that his philosophy mirrors the company's policy, which is safety first and when they leave a home, they ensure that the customers stoves, chimneys, etc is safe for use. we were forced to finally address our scary 200 year old center chimney this fall after winter storm damage this past march. we talked to a few contractors and settled on the chimney chaps, and are so glad we did...A very friendly and competent man came out to do our evaluation and wrote us up an estamate on the spot, we received an email within a couple of days with an itemized estimate and followed that with a date to begin. I can't say how gratified we were that the week we were told to expect work to begin we received a email confirming the date. Scott the owner and Ryan a diligent staff member came at about 8:30 to begin and worked the next 21/2 full days without stopping, they are a force to be reckoned with. Our chimney needed a liner and repair and rebuild work that had some twists and turns that presented challenges. We were kept apprised every step of the way. When you engage in a project that you yourself have no understanding of it can be stressful , but we were able to feel confident we went with the right contractor for the job, it reminded me of 40 years ago when you had high expectations and things seemed to hum along smoothly. We had John come to our house to fix our Jotel gas stove. He was amazing! Diagnosed the problem almost immediately, got the stove up and running and then installed a remote for the stove. He also did an excellent job cleaning the stove and going over everything he did. Absolutely recommend! Now we have a working, reliable stove! Thank you John!

Everyone i dealt with at Chimney Chap was very professional & easy to work with , from the beginning assessment & quote ,to the final clean up ....work done seems excellent & Jim was very pleasant ( & efficient and knowledgeable as well, even in dealing with my chimney that is more than 250 years old : ).
